Scientifically trained in agricultural business economics with a specialisation in analysing the economic and animal welfare implications of poor animal health, Francis has decided to transition from a career in scientific research to focus on developing a documentary photography portfolio. Beginning in 2024, his work will primarily highlight agricultural and food systems, documenting them from social, environmental, and political perspectives.
In addition to his dedication in documenting agricultural and food systems, Francis maintains a diverse range of photographic interests. His portfolio also includes imagery from the world of adventure and outdoor sports, as well as landscape and macro photography.
